When a man from Chimbote, Peru, hurt his head on a street, his two beloved dogs jumped inside the ambulance so they could be with their owner.
When doctors started to do their job on the patient the loyal pooches refused to leave their beloved human’s side.
The best part of the story is that everyone was so touched by the loyalty of these dogs that they were allowed to stay inside the hospital.
Later that day a picture of the man with a head injury sitting in a wheelchair with – you guessed it – his four-legged friends by his side was posted by Joha Morillas Zapata, an intern who works at that same hospital.
The current situation of the injured man is still unknown but with so much true love from his doggies we are quite sure he is fine.
According to some researchers dog loyalty stems from their pack behavior.
Because canines want to bond with a group, they instinctually show loyalty to those who are or who could be part of their group.
Dogs have evaluated a lot from the past. They have developed better communication ways with their humans, and according to scientists dogs are more human-like in their behaviors than any other animal, including primates.
We are happy to have them in our lives and that is for sure.
