While enjoying a sunny day in her backyard, Lisianne from Quebec, Canada when she noticed something when she approached the bushes she noticed a fluffy cat staring straight at her.
The woman noticed that the feline was hungry and brought her food and water.
The cat was still strolling around the backyard of Lisianne and the woman thought the feline was a stray, so from that time she always left water and food for the furry feline.
She decided to call the cat Usagi and eventually they became friends.
“This lady with a big heart for this cause was watching her, she put food and water in order to help her,” Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a local rescue group wrote on Facebook. “With this routine, the lady gained confidence and the kitty started getting close.”
The woman noticed that the cat’s belly was getting bigger and that wasn’t due to the food, realizing the cat was pregnant the woman became even more caring with the sweet cat.
“The kitty gave birth outside, but she came back every day to eat,” the rescue group wrote.
One morning the woman was greeted with a sweet surprise, her porch was invaded with Usagi and her six little babies who looked just like her, the feline decided that it was time that her babies met the woman that took such good care of her.
The little kittens were 6 week old, they looked in stable condition but obviously needed help.
“She brought her six babies back and she set up her nest at the lady’s house,” the post reads. “Their good fairy decided to help this little family and they secured them home in a room. The mom and her six babies were finally safe.”
The woman took the little ones inside her home and then contacted the rescue group Chatons Orphelins Montréal asking them for help.
The volunteers offered help gladly and were happy to take care of these sweet felines.
“The babies were reserved, they needed socialization,” the rescue group said. “They started trusting and coming out of their shell. The little ones love having fun together.”
The woman then decided to adopt Usagi and give her all the love she needed, a friend of hers adopted one of the kittens while the others were waiting for a forever home.
“The five babies are the same, they were all tufts of black hair,” Chatons Orphelins Montréal said. “There were three females, Taylor, Tynie and Tyana, along with two males, Tales and Tito.”
We hope every animal will find their forever home and be happy they truly deserve that.
