The best kind and inspiring stories to read, are those where humans just don’t let animals go from this world without getting a taste of what is like to receive care and love.
A poor dog with tumors, was adopted by a young girl,Sophiane Nacer who despite all wanted to give the dog the best ‘’end days’’possible.
She made a vow to herself, that Hippo the dog will only experience love and care before he leaves this world.
“Even if it was just for a day,” the 19-year-old Sophiane, thee founder of Cayleb’s Kindred Senior Dog Rescue, told TODAY, Hippo was going to have the best last day ever’’.
Hippo got adopted from his shelter, and was welcomed on the young girls home after 5 long awaiting days.
Sophiane was not sure if the dog could experience any adventure or the love she was willing to give him, since he was in painful state, poor Hippo’s skin was painful to the touch.
But when she saw the wiggling tale of him,Sophiane knew the dog was a fighter he wouldn’t let go without experiencing the love and care a dog dreams.
Both of them started the road to an adventure,Sophiane made a quick stop to Starbucks, ordering her lovely dog a Puppuccino, the famous chains drink, that make animals go wild.
Puppuccino is a drink consisting only whipped cream.
Next day,Sophanie planned their next adventure and sent her dog to a dog parks so he experiences some play time,he loved every second of it.
After their little adventures, the dog has something to say to his kind owner,he was ready to go.
He had the time of his lives along Sophiane but he was in so much pain and so tired he decided it was about time.
Sophiane respected Hippo’s request, after the play park time she contacted a vet who specialized on euthanasia to come over.
Hippo’s roasted chicken dinner was mixed with sedatives,he ate the last meal being comfortable next to Sophanie, and then was off to a painless permanent sleep.
This story makes you experience two big mixed emotions,it makes you sad for having to put the animal down, but it gives you warm smiles knowing that a kind person didn’t leave the poor dog experiencing only pain on his last days.
We thank Sophiane for the kind and human gesture.
