‘In loving memory of Bruce’: woman sets up tennis ball stand at beach as tribute to late dog

Pets are an important part of our life and when they pass away leave behind a great deal of pain, people have different ways of grief but most of them choose to pay tribute to their late pets with a memorial.

One sweet memorial appeared on a beach recently, it had both parts memorializing one deceased dog and providing a gift to other dogs.

At the Silver Sands beach in South Australia, people can see a wooden stand and has a note attached: “In loving memory of Bruce.”

Bruce’s grieving owner set up the stand, there attached is a picture of the sweet dog  frolicking in the water, showing how much he loved this beach when he was living.

So the sad owner wanted to honor the memory of the dog so it made sure the other canines would enjoy it too, so she left out a box of yellow tennis balls, completely free-of-charge to any dog who wants one.

“Please help yourself to a tennis ball for your dog to enjoy,” the note reads, according to Daily Mail Australia. “You may also wish to pop it back in the box afterwards for another dog to play with. If you wish to keep it that’s fine too!”

“Remember to live each moment like your dog with unconditional love, loyalty and happiness.”

The unique memorial has warmed people’s hearts everywhere, now it’s the locals favourite spot and also has gone viral on the net.

When a pet is lost we all hang on the sweet memories we had with them that often are as simple as playing ball at the beach, this is why this memorial is so sweet it’s a representation of how important is the time we spend with them.

Rest in peace Bruce boy, you will never be forgotten.
