While she was riding the 1 train home she noticed a man on the other side of the car, he was carrying  something in his lap.

When she realized that he was carrying a tiny kitten wrapped in a towel and was bottle feeding the feline she got really happy.

“You could see the caring,” Gillian told The Dodo. “My heart felt like it was going to explode to see someone with that much caring. He was so in the moment.”

“The kitten was looking up at him as he fed her. It was so heartwarming.”

She needed to know more about what was seeing so she approached the man and then he shared his inspiring story with her.

He said to Gillian that he founded the tiny feline in the city between two buildings so he decided to step in and take the poor animal in.

“It was so heartwarming,” Gillian said. “I told him, ‘Thank you.’”

The woman posted the heartwarming photo on Facebook, the picture has over 13,000 shares and has received thousands of comments.

She was excited that this moment meant to other people as much as it did to her.

“I had no idea the photo was going to resonate as it has. It makes me happy,” she told The Dodo. “I think we all need something to cheer us up.”

Thank you kind man, you truly are an inspiration.
